Thomas Ming Hui Stanka
Thomas is a Berlin-based photography curator dedicated to reviving analogue photography for the contemporary stage. As a core member of the Berlin photo festival AnalogueNOW!, he has been a key figure in the city’s analogue scene since 2020. His collaborations include partnerships with the GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts Leipzig, the Museum für Fotografie Berlin, the Rotlicht Festival Vienna, and Berlin Photo Week.
Professionally, Thomas works as a specialist at Grisebach, one of Germany’s leading auction houses. His responsibilities include appraising and evaluating artworks, as well as researching and cataloguing pieces of classical modernism and German post-war art.
In 2024, he founded CYCLOPS, a platform designed to present curated photography projects through pop-up exhibitions across Berlin’s project spaces, studios, and galleries.
